A man was discovered fatally wounded Saturday morning inside of a residence on the West Side in the Garfield Park neighborhood, Chicago police said.
Shortly before 10:30 a.m., the victim was found inside a residence in the 3000 block of West Polk Street with a gunshot wound to the body, police said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
No one was in custody for the fatal shooting, and detectives were investigating.
