Two people were found fatally shot inside a vehicle Friday night in the Armour Square neighborhood on the city’s South Side, according to Chicago police.

Authorities found the man and a woman of unknown age, each with a gunshot wound to the head, in the vehicle in the 300 block of West 31st Street just after 7 p.m., police said.

Both were pronounced dead at the scene, said police, who added that a firearm was recovered on the scene. An autopsy is scheduled for Saturday.

No one was in custody Friday evening as Wentworth area detectives began their homicide investigation.
