Multiple people have been injured in a mass shooting on Chicago’s South Side, according to police.
A Chicago police spokesperson confirmed to the Tribune that multiple people were shot at the 6600 block of South Stony Island Avenue in the Woodlawn neighborhood Tuesday night. Victims have been transported to multiple hospitals, but their conditions are unknown, the spokesperson said.
Police were also investigating multiple crime scenes. The details and timing of the shooting and whether police had made any arrests were unclear. Area detectives were investigating.
