The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) staged a protest outside the NTA headquarters in Delhi today, June 10, 2024. The protest was in response to allegations of a paper leak in the NEET-UG exam, the subsequent arrests of solvers, and later irregularities detected in the exam results.
The exam results, which were released on June 4th, have sparked controversy due to alleged inflated marks. While 67 students achieved the perfect score of 720, several others received scores of 718 or 719 — marks that some students claim are impossible to attain considering the test’s nature.
Earlier on June 9, students gathered in Surat to protest against the National Testing Agency (NTA. The announcement of the NEET UG 2024 results has raised a lot of concerns among students and parents, leading to protests across India.
Students protesting carried signs and shouted slogans, demanding a “fair review” of the exam process. The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), the student wing of the RSS, has urged for a CBI probe into the NEET UG 2024 exam, citing significant concerns regarding its administration and evaluation.
