Northbrook police are investigating a series of burglaries to adjoining businesses that happened between 2 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. Monday in the 2800 block of Dundee Road.

According to a news release, officers received a call of suspicious subjects at a business plaza. Officers arrived and located several businesses with shattered front doors. The Northbrook Police Department is currently reviewing surveillance camera footage of the incident.

“We want to remind businesses to remove and/or secure all valuables that are visible and ensure that cash registers are cleared and left open,” Police Chief Christopher Kennedy said in the release. “These small steps can help prevent businesses from being targeted.”

The public is encouraged to contact the Northbrook Police Department at 847-564-2060 if they have any information regarding these burglaries, the release said.
