Thailand’s Opal Suchata Chuangsri was crowned Miss World 2025 at the dazzling grand finale held in Hyderabad’s HITEX Convention Centre. Her victory is a moment of pride for Thailand, as she steps into the esteemed role of Miss World, poised to inspire and create meaningful change on a global scale.

Out of 108 contestants from around the world, 40 made it to the Miss World 2025 semi-finals — among them was India’s Nandini Gupta. However, her journey came to an end as she missed out on a spot in the coveted Top 8.

Who Is Opal Suchata Chuangsri

Opal Suchata Chuangsri’s road to the Miss World 2025 crown began when she was crowned Miss World Thailand earlier this year on April 22.

Born on March 20, 2003, in the scenic city of Phuket, Opal was raised in a family of hoteliers. Fluent in Thai, English, and Chinese, she brings a global flair to the stage, graceful, grounded, and ready to represent the world.

She started her education at the prestigious Triam Udom Suksa School in Bangkok, where Chinese studies sparked her interest in languages and other cultures. She is still pursuing that interest now at Thammasat University, where she is majoring in Political Science with a major in International Relations.

About Miss World 2025

The 72nd edition of Miss World dazzled audiences as it commenced at 6:30 PM at Hyderabad’s HITEX Exhibition Centre. The grand finale opened with a formal introduction of the contestants, setting the stage for a series of elimination rounds that gradually narrowed the competition to the best from each continent.

After revealing the top contestants representing each region, the pageant advanced through high-stakes rounds, culminating in the much-anticipated Top 4 announcement. Each of the finalists faced a crucial question from the jury.
