Oswego man falls to his death at Starved Rock State Park

The person who died on Saturday due to a fall at Starved Rock State Park in Ottawa has been identified as an Oswego man, officials said.

Albert Cramer, 38, of Oswego, died due to the fall, according to a press release from the LaSalle County Coroner’s Office.

An autopsy was conducted by the office with preliminary results indicating Cramer died of fatal injuries sustained from the fall, according to the release. No foul play is suspected.

The incident is under further investigation by the LaSalle County Coroner’s Office, Illinois Conservation Police Department and Illinois State Police Crime Scene Investigation Unit, officials said.
