The controversy surrounding Kim Soo Hyun has gained attention after allegations surfaced claiming he had a romantic relationship with Kim Sae Ron when she was still a minor. Leaked messages and resurfaced reports suggest their relationship may have lasted for six years, and accusations have emerged about Kim Soo Hyun’s agency, GOLDMEDALIST, potentially being involved in Kim Sae Ron’s financial struggles leading up to her tragic passing.
The scandal has been further amplified by the Garosero Research Institute, a YouTube channel known for exposing secrets of South Korea’s celebrity elite. The channel has been releasing content implicating GOLDMEDALIST in unethical behaviour, allegedly exacerbating Kim Sae Ron’s circumstances, thus fueling growing public criticism.
Park Seo Joon took to Instagram to share a photo from his trip to Paris on March 16. The caption read, “What was I doing in Paris? Garo?”
A seemingly innocent statement, which would typically go unnoticed, took a different turn when the Garosero Research Institute picked up on the word “garo.” They speculated that it could be a subtle nod to their own channel. With the timing of Park Seo Joon’s post coinciding with the height of the Kim Soo Hyun controversy, rumours began to swirl that he might be indirectly commenting on the scandal.
As the Kim Soo Hyun controversy intensified, an unexpected twist emerged when Garosero Research Institute pointed out that the actor allegedly had the nickname “YouTuber Kim Pari.” This sparked speculation among netizens that Park Seo Joon’s recent Instagram post, which included the mention of “Paris,” might not have been a mere coincidence. Some suggested that he could be subtly referencing Kim Soo Hyun or even making a veiled comment on the ongoing scandal.
