A person of interest was arrested Friday morning after carjacking a city vehicle from a woman in the River North neighborhood, Chicago police said.
Shortly after 8:15 a.m., a city worker was in the 300 block of East Chicago Avenue when she was approached by someone who demanded her city vehicle. She complied and the carjacker fled west on C hicago Avenue.
The city vehicle was recovered and a person of interest was taken into custody. Detectives are investigating.
