Rajasthan Govt Orders SIT For Paper Leak Investigations

In response to recent incidents of recruitment exam paper leaks, the home department of Rajasthan has issued directions to the state’s Director general of police (DGP) to establish a Special Investigation Team (SIT), according to an official statement released on Saturday. The directives came following orders from Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma during a meeting held on Friday. The SIT, headed by an ADG-rank official, will conduct a comprehensive investigation into the paper leak cases, news agency PTI. reported.

“The SIT will meticulously examine each paper leak case which will contribute to the prevention of such incidents in the future,” the statement read, as per PTI. Simultaneously, the government plans to form an Anti-Gangster Task Force under an ADG-rank official, aiming to combat organised crime effectively in the state.

Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma On Crime, Paper Leak Cases

Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, addressing a press conference at his office on Friday night, outlined the key priorities of his government, emphasising women’s safety and the eradication of crime and corruption. He assured that an Anti-Gangster Task Force would be instrumental in controlling organised crime in the state.

“Our government will not tolerate crime against women at any cost. Women’s safety and eradication of corruption will be our top priorities,” Chief Minister Sharma affirmed.

Sharma, a first-time MLA, was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Rajasthan in a ceremony attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and top BJP leaders. During the press conference, he announced a zero-tolerance policy against corruption and pledged to address pending matters in various departments.

Speaking specifically about the paper leak cases, Sharma stated, “No one who played with the future of the youth will be spared. It will be ensured that no paper leak incidents happen in the state”, as quoted by PTI. He expressed concern the state’s youth was demoralized due to previous paper leak incidents and affirmed the initiation of work on forming the Special Investigation Team.

He highlighted the formation of a committee to monitor the implementation of the PM Gairb Kalyan Yojna, ensuring that no beneficiaries are overlooked.

The Chief Minister nby reiterating the government’s commitment to implementing the party’s election manifesto and addressing key issues raised during the elections.
