Raksha Bandhan 2024: Raksha Bandhan is the festival symbolising the love between brothers and sisters and is celebrated on the last day of the sawan month, known as sawan purnima. According to the old traditions, sisters tie a Rakhi around their brothers’ wrists, and brothers promise to protect them from any hardships that they might face in life. This reflects the deepening of the sibling relationship, showing that protection, love, and care are not bound by gender.
