1. St. Charles North 6-0 (1)

Lucas Tenbrock converts 44-yard field goal as North Stars get past St. Charles East 24-13.

2. Yorkville 6-0 (2)

Jack Beetham throws two TD passes as Foxes make playoffs with 35-19 win over Plainfield South.

3. Oswego 5-1 (3)

Kaleb Stumpenhorst kicks booming 50-yard field goal as Panthers roll past Joliet West 48-6.

4. Batavia 4-2 (4)

A 28-yard field goal by Caleb Peters lifts the Bulldogs past Geneva 24-21 in overtime.

5. Burlington Central 5-1 (6)

Landon Arnold runs for 154 yards, throws for 111 as Rockets down McHenry 27-21.

6. Oswego East 5-1 (7)

Laterrion Thomas returns interception 40 yards for TD in Wolves’ 51-6 win over Romeoville.

7. Kaneland 5-1 (8)

Jalen Carter marks return with 286 total yards in Knights’ 34-14 Interstate Eight win at Sycamore.

Bennett Konkey and Luke Ignoffo combine for 259 yards receiving in 24-21 OT loss to Batavia.

9. Jacobs 4-2 (9)

Justin Gonzalez scores winning TD on 29-yard run as Eagles edge Crystal Lake Central 27-21.

10. South Elgin 4-2 (10)

Gavin Mueller accounts for four TDs as the Storm roll past Streamwood in 49-0 rout.

Offensive Player of the Week

Junior quarterback Jacob Rufino completes 15 of 22 passes for 204 yards and six touchdowns for Elgin in a 43-21 win over crosstown rival Larkin in the teams’ annual trophy game. Rufino throws to five receivers for TDs, including a pair to sophomore Ja’Miere Moore as Maroons (4-2) move within a win of becoming playoff eligible.

Defensive Player of the Week

Junior linebacker Rogan O’Neil totals 11 tackles, with two for loss and one sack, and adds two quarterback hurries for Kaneland in a 34-14 win at Sycamore. It’s the first win for the Knights over the Spartans since 2018.
