The British rock band The Who has announced a farewell tour that will bring them to the United Center in Chicago for a concert on Sept. 7.
Tickets will be available starting with a Citi card presale and through the Who Fan Club on May 13. According to the announcement Thursday, additional presales will run for the week ahead of the public sale at 10 a.m. May 16 at thewho.com/tour.
The tour, titled titled “The Song Is Over North America Farewell Tour” and named after The Who’s 1971 song, will include Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey playing from their entire six decade catalog.
In the initial announcement, the tour includes 14 stops, with two-night stops only in Los Angeles and Toronto.
