Victim found wounded Friday night at firehouse dies from injuries

A gunshot victim was pronounced dead after being found wounded Friday night at a firehouse in the Woodlawn neighborhood, Chicago police said.

About 8:30 p.m., officers responded to a call of a person shot at a firehouse in the 1300 block of East 67th Street. The victim could not provide any details about the shooting, and was initially taken to UChicago Medicine in serious condition, police said.

He later was pronounced dead.

No one was in custody, and detectives were investigating.
