A 19-year-old woman was shot in the Loop Saturday night after a holiday light show that drew hundreds downtown.
Shortly before 9 p.m., police responded to the 100 block of West Washington Street, where the woman was shot in the leg after an unknown man opened fire while she walked on the sidewalk with a group.
First responders transported her to Northwestern Memorial Hospital where she was listed in fair condition. No one had been arrested as of Sunday morning, and detectives continue to investigate, according to police.
Holiday festivities in the Mag Mile, including a lights festival, parade and fireworks, had just wrapped up north of the river.
