U.S. stock futures fell as investors braced for interest rates to keep rising rapidly, and as a warning of weak revenues from a bellwether stock raised concerns about the health of the U.S. economy.

Futures for the S&P 500 fell 1.3% Friday. The broad market index was on track for its worst weekly performance since mid-June at Thursday’s close. Contracts for the tech-focused Nasdaq-100 declined 1.3% and futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average shed 1%.
