Skittles encourages its consumers to “taste the rainbow,” but the candy brand’s newest flavor might have you tasting a common condiment instead.

Skittles on Tuesday announced its newest candy flavor is mustard, as part of a partnership with French’s. The mustard-flavored Skittles are the result of Skittles’ partnership with French’s ahead of National Mustard Day on August 5.

“From Mustard Ice Cream to last year’s viral Mustard Donuts, this year marks the fifth time French’s has gone all out with unique, flavorful innovations to celebrate National Mustard Day. With the yellow holiday landing on August 5th, we knew we had to outdo ourselves,” said Valda Coryat, North America vice president of marketing for McCormick & Company, French’s parent company. “We are thrilled to collaborate with Skittles to deliver our beloved Classic Yellow Mustard tang in a new, fun way to French’s and Skittles fans alike.”

To celebrate National Mustard Day on August 5, Skittles and French’s will give away free fun-sized packs at in-person pop-up events across the U.S. as well as via an online sweepstakes.

For those hoping to get some free mustard-flavored Skittles in-person at a pop-up event, French’s will drive its “Mustard Mobile” – featuring a bright yellow design and giant mustard Skittles on top of the vehicle – through stops in Atlanta, New York City, and Washington, D.C. The Mustard Mobile offering mustard-flavored Skittles will be at the Ponce City Market in Atlanta from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on July 31; at City Center in Washington, D.C., from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on August 2; and at Hudson River Park in New York City from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on August 5.

For those interested in entering the online sweepstakes, fans can enter their submission online to win a pack of French’s mustard Skittles.

“Skittles is always looking to inspire moments of everyday happiness and deliver unexpected ways for fans to experience the brand,” said Ro Cheng, marketing director at Mars, Skittles’ parent company. “That’s why we’ve teamed up with French’s to create the first-of-its-kind Skittles that combines their tangy mustard flavor with our iconic chewy texture to deliver this unique summer treat for National Mustard Day.”
