Former India cricketer Virender Sehwag and his wife, Aarti, are reportedly headed for separation after over 20 years of marriage. According to a Hindustan Times report, the couple, who married in 2004, have recently unfollowed each other on social media, sparking the separation rumours. While neither Sehwag nor Aarti has made an official statement about their separation, multiple media reports also claim that a divorce is likely on the cards.
Virender Sehwag and Aarti tied the knot in 2004 and have two sons, Aryavir, born in 2007 and Vedant, born in 2010. The report suggests that the couple has been living separately for several months, sparking speculation about a possible divorce.

The speculation surrounding the couple’s marriage grew when Aarti’s name was absent from Sehwag’s Instagram following, with her account being private. Aarti’s absence from Sehwag’s recent social media posts intensified the speculations further. Notably, Sehwag posted photos from his Diwali celebrations, which included his sons and mother, but notably left out Aarti.
In another indication, Sehwag recently shared pictures from his visit to the Vishwa Nagayakshi Temple in Palakkad on Instagram, again without mentioning Aarti.
