U.S. stocks fell as investors reviewed another batch of earnings from retailers and awaited minutes from the Federal Reserve’s July meeting.
The S&P 500 dropped 0.8% Wednesday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 0.6%, while the Nasdaq Composite declined 1.1%.
