Stocks Waver With Fed in Focus

U.S. stocks were mixed after three consecutive days of declines driven by an expectation of tighter Federal Reserve policy.

The S&P 500 gained 0.1%. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.2%, and the Nasdaq Composite rose 0.4%.
